vjc is so dirty.
make it incredibly dirty. went for math lecture at LT4 in the morning. as always, the moment you enter the LT there's a strong pungent smell; today in the whole LT there were only 2 fans on the side. so not only was the smell unbearably lingering, it was stuffy as well. ugggh. vjc is like some rural village school. the toilets are no better. if you're unlucky, you cant flush away your pee, a sorry case if you're having menses. think about how you're gonna react when you open the door hoping to get away scot free but come face to face with another person who wants to use the toilet. damn. if you're lucky, your pee gets flushed away, but water from the button SOMEHOW gushes out and you'll be like "eeeew what is this water". sigh. owell i must discredit the flushing system that much. there areof course, times when you flush successfully without any side effects.

but. one cannot deny that the cleanliness of the toilets is ugggggh. it's comparable to many hawker centre toilets ok. maybe one day i shld bug cheryl to take a picture of the toilet with her k700i so i can post it here. in the past we used to have servettes to wipe your hand dry but ever since school reopened after the june vacation i think the price of servettes must have faced some serious inflation. jialat. so everybody simply flings their wet hands to shake off the water, whilst others take their turns to step around, leaving the dirty shoe-prints on the floor. and then you question: "where the heck are your school cleaners?" good question. no answer.

speaking of toilet cleaners the cantenn cleaners fare no better. if you ever get a clean table with no gravy stain(s) or scrapfood, you ought to buy Toto. in mjc the tables are practically clean enough for you to rest your head on. in vjc i never dare to do that. who knows, you might just go to class with crows eating off from your head. darn. are the cleaners voluntary workers or what? oh by the way the first malay stall and indian stall have probably declared bankrupt. haha. let's see who's next. the noodles and carrot cake stall?

vjc better prays that the ministry of health never conducts a spotcheck. if not the whole school probably has to shut down. hehehe.

ching

got sick of using diaryland so i decided to shift over. it's much more convenient to bold my words haha. damn, u know one stinking problem with me? i've had so much on my mind before i decided to blog, but now im here, i've been staring at this screen for 10 mins and this is just how far i've gotten in penning down my thoughts.

ok maybe i should start with friday first. as in last friday. i went back to Anglican High with cheryl and hwei. Phoon decided playing captain's ball was more enjoyable than being with us. *fine, you jerk* actually we all went back half heartedly; wasnt the most interested in going bacj. but well we ended up spenfing 4 hrs there, mostly in Mr Chan's cubicle though. haha now ahs' staff room has speaker phones outside its so fun to bug teachers!!
we later went to the soccer court to take some picts. there were several sec4 guys playing bball. we approached one of those who were not psititng by the side and asked if he was free at that moment? he was like, ''wad do u mean by free?" honestly, u think we're asking for a date? doh. anyway the sec4s this year are really jialat. saw the evaluation of their mid years results, gosh, it was really bad. ahs' o level grades are gonna suffer a Wallstreet crash this yr. wahaha.

that's hwei, me, cheryl :) the old man is mr chan. heh.

hm. anyway im finally coping well with life in vjc. admittedly, it is better that i came here than having remained in mjc. life's much less stressful here than in mj, and i believe im doing better here than i would have in mj. the shorter timetables here also mean that i have more time to find steven; counting on the fact that i have anbout 20 free periods each week, i sure dont have HOMEwork : P and i have a new found gang of friends in my class besides cheryl, so there's no problem of feeling out of place anymore. besides, having so manyt free periods with myself have trained me to be more independent, which aint too bad a lesson. the only thing that sucks are the damn security guards. i know its not their fault. it's the school's. every wednesday i end at 9:15am actually, but i gotta stick around until 12:30pm. wad a bloody waste of time. monday even worse. finish lessons at 11:30am but gotta stick around for PE which starts at 3pm and ends at 5pm. i hate pe, and more so, third period pe. bronze is good enough ok. sigh.

oh anyway i tried to make sushi for steven yesterday, and it was such a flop. when the rice was cooking in the pot for some reason it became to bubble and bubble till i thought the whole pit was gonna explode. luckily i switched it off. added too much water such that my sushi rice became more like porridge. waddaflop. i think i will stick to buying the ready made ones.

my mum is scoolding again... and i heard the word "shopping"! thanks mum for the reminder. i bought a pretty nice watch from Bugis Village yday for only $5! : ) i haven worn a watch in years, been depending on my hp. i bought 2 pairs of heels last week for only $6 each. one in gold and the other in metallic blue. they're not really heels. the heels are not that high actually. im so proud of myself cos i buy cheap yet nice things:D i dun believe in branded stuff unless they're on discount. lets face it, the cost price of those stuff are not even the discounted prices. i saw a really UGLY blouse in an old Female mag the other day... from Prada. It's like a piece of spoilt batik with light and grey patches all over with an embroidered pistol on it. it costs a frigging $680. gosh, i wouldnt even pay a dollar to buy it. it's downright fuggin' ugly. i bet if that same piece of blouse was sold in Hang Ten or wadever, people would diss it as being typically ugly. But because it's from Prada, people lavish it with praises and think of 6 ways to wear it like in Female mag. How about a 7th way-- use it as a tablecloth? gosh, the prices people pay for branded goods. Prada prada.. i panda ah. with $680 i can buy loads of other stylish stuff.

hm think im gonna end here. gotta mark my younger sis' science assessment book. which she often fills in with dumb answers. Once, there was this question "How is respiration important to us?" and she actually wrote "Because without it, we will die!". talk about giving a bad answer; she actually had the nerve to add an exclamation mark.

love,
ching
